These W(isle)d flowers of the Light were created purely and entirely from letting my imagination run Free!

They were seeded in the Garden of my Wild Heart and danced themselves into their fullest bloom in my studio on the Garden isle.

Being an artist and living on an island like Kauai is a whole dream in itself.  I can’t seem to go very far without meeting the many faces of the crystal blue waters and  being enchanted by the ancient hums of the mountains echoing over the Ocean. Every where I look, there is a new form of Nature to take in and its beauty colors my heart and mind with the Paradise of Freedom.

These flowers were invented in the spontaneity of the moment, where I find and follow the raw expression of my Soul. Engaging in my creativity in this way connects me more deeply to the untamed and wild Nature of this island and the many islands that exist inside of my imagination. It also excites my passion for innovation. Each painting becomes a portal for me to explore the unique flavors of my artistry.  I celebrate how each of them is different and I revel in their shared Light of True Inspiration.

The Muse finds me through this Light of True Inspiration and I find her in the flowers and the trees and the ocean and its breeze and I let her enter into me!

And she brings me to the Wild Unknown… where I make the W(isle)d flowers grow.
