Zoe Rose (b. 1996) is a self taught, contemporary painter working primarily in oil whose paintings explore self-realization through mythic figuration and visionary landscapes. Through a surreal, intuitive approach, her work examines portraiture as a site of perception and inner life, while her landscape-based paintings draw from flora, natural forms, and otherworldly environments in dialogue with the imagination.
